A Quiet Ostara: a Personal Post About being a Witch with PCOS and Questionable Fertility

I was planning on doing a much brighter post about how I spent Ostara/The Spring Equinox. Unfortunately my body had other ideas and left me feeling incredibly ill and reminding me of my supposed lack of fertility on a holiday celebrating it. Personal details ahead, feel free to skip this post if you’re not interested.

I was very recently diagnosed with a mild form of PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). Not sure if I 100% believe that I have it. These days PCOS seems to be the catch all for doctors saying “Something’s wrong, and we’ve crossed everything off the list.”

Dealing with a Bad Customer: Witch for Hire Edition

Angry Spell Caster!
Even in the Witchcraft/Hoodoo/Spellcraft world, the second you put yourself in a position to make a business transaction you welcome the nightmare of customer service horror stories into your life. Luckily, every unpleasant encounter is a lesson for how not to do things in the future.

Bad Customer Story

This post is brought to you by an unnamed customer – unnamed because even though the man provided me with enough unsolicited information to show up at his door (or darn near open a bank account in his name), I have a moral compass and a sense of decency which trumps my temper.

Announcing New Esty Shop: Mountain Vale Magic

Today, I set up my Etsy Shop.

Mountain Vale Magic
Magic created in the shade of the Appalachians and the heart of a historical city.

I've only got a couple of listings at the moment, but I'm planning on adding more, including handmade magical soaps, vinegar jars, and some additional products that take some time to create. I've very excited about being able to offer physical products in addition to my spell work on Fiverr.

I am also taking steps to be more active in the pagan community. My self-imposed solitary practice has gone on too long, and one can only grow so much in a vacuum. Want to check me out on other social media, you can find me in these places:

I'm looking for dialogue and discussion, so hit me up!

Vlog: Top 3 Myths of Witchcraft

As of late, I've been thinking a lot about weird "facts" I heard when I first started my path to paganism, especially ones that cover how to do magic. At first I believed them, but overtime common sense kicked in.
