Spell Success and the Real Work of Doing Spells for Others

For what is possibly the first time in my life, I’ve performed a least two spell a week for the last month.

It’s really made me flex my magickal muscle and challenge my skills to figure out the best spell application for a host of problems for various people. It’s also made me take a hard look at myself and my practice and think about what makes a spell successful and the additional work I’m doing.

I’ve had some of my work result in an outcome rapidly, and others that were either unsuccessful or that I just never heard back from the folks I was doing it for (which I take as unsuccessful). I’ve also had someone who asked me to affect an organization’s decision, only to realize it was likely finalized several days before I became involved. So in the end, my energy was a wave that crashed onto a coastal rock, and a big waste of effort. Despite the failures, I think I’m still on the positive side of chance.

Selling Spells and Witchcraft

I've started selling spell services on Fiverr.com. You can find me at https://www.fiverr.com/susanbrooke

My reason: I like doing spell work, but I rarely find that I have a need to do work for myself. However, I imagine there are others out there who would feel more comfortable if someone else cast the spell for them, and I need to practice to stay sharp as well as a force to push me to expanding my skills out beyond my go to spells.

Oh gosh, where does the time go?

So since I last posted forever ago, the following things have happened:

  • I graduated with my first Master's degree
  • I graduated with my second Master's degree
  • I got a professional certification for project management
  • I switched to a new job that's far away and requires a serious time commitment in both effort and commute.
  • I hit the three year mark for my marriage. *Yay*
  • I started selling spell services on Fiverr.com (https://www.fiverr.com/susanbrooke)
  • I loved and lost my first "all mine" cat within two years of adopting her, which taught me how fast you bond with animals and how devastating it is to lose them.
So now that I'm still super busy, but for other things, I am going to commit to posting more and settling back in to my spiritual work and recording it here. Looking forward to telling you all about it.
